๐ฟ After the Storm
There are seasons that shake a house so deeply that nothing feels steady for a while.
Words become heavy.
Questions multiply.
Even ordinary days feel uncertain, as if the ground itself has shifted beneath your feet.
And when a storm passes, people often expect life to return to normal right away โ but healing rarely happens that quickly.
Sometimes the first gift after a storm is not answers.
Sometimes it is simply breath.
The quiet realization that you made it through.
That you are still standing.
That home, even if it feels fragile, is still home.
What you have walked through does not define you.
A hard season is not the whole story.
There is grace in beginning again slowly โ in learning how to laugh without guilt, how to rest without fear, how to trust peace when it finally shows up at the door.
Even strong families can be shaken.
Even faithful hearts can be tired.
But strength is not the absence of struggle.
Strength is choosing to remain gentle when life tries to harden you.
And healing does not arrive all at once.
It comes in small moments:
a child feeling safe again,
a quiet evening without tension,
a prayer whispered without urgency.
You donโt have to rush to prove anything now.
It is enough to rest.
Enough to breathe.
Enough to let peace return one day at a time.
Sometimes the greatest sign that God is present is not in the noise of the battle, but in the quiet that follows when you realize you were carried through it.
The storm passed.
And the fact that you are still here โ together โ means that hope did not leave.
