Label the peaceful as violent.
Call dissent disloyalty.
And convince the crowd that silence is safety.
When the Speaker of the House calls a peaceful protest a “Hate America rally,” he’s not defending the nation.
He’s defending the narrative.
For those who still believe in freedom of speech, the right to assemble, and the power of conscience — this is not a moment to shrink back.
It’s a moment to see clearly.
The Old Tactic, Repackaged
They say, if you go, you must hate America.
But that’s not patriotism — that’s propaganda.
True love of country has never meant blind obedience to power.
It has always meant holding power accountable to truth.
Every movement that has bent the moral arc toward justice — abolition, suffrage, civil rights — was first branded as un-American.
It’s the oldest script in the book:
Discredit the messenger, distort the message, and distract the masses.
But truth doesn’t answer to talking points.
And peace doesn’t need permission from the powerful to gather.
What the Facts Show
The organizers of No Kings have called for nonviolence, unity, and civic engagement.
They’ve published safety guides, coordinated de-escalation teams, and urged attendees to remain peaceful.
There is no evidence that this movement seeks chaos — only change.
Yet those in power cannot afford for people to see that.
Because if the crowd ever remembers its strength,
their fearmongering fails.
The Real Threat
The real threat to America isn’t a crowd chanting for accountability.
It’s the leaders who weaponize fear to keep the crowd divided.
They’ve mistaken control for stability and loyalty for virtue.
But the republic was not founded on obedience — it was founded on conscience.
It is not “anti-American” to demand truth.
It is the essence of being American.
The Benediction
So let them mock.
Let them call truth treason and peace protest.
Because the louder they shout,
the more obvious their fear becomes.
History will not remember who shouted the loudest.
It will remember who stood when standing was costly.

Está defendiendo la narrativa.
Para quienes aún creen en la libertad de expresión, en el derecho a reunirse, y en el poder de la conciencia — este no es un momento para retroceder.
Es un momento para ver con claridad.
La Vieja Táctica, Reempaquetada
Dicen: si vas, odias a tu país.
Pero eso no es patriotismo — es propaganda.
El verdadero amor a la patria nunca ha significado obediencia ciega al poder.
Siempre ha significado exigirle al poder que rinda cuentas ante la verdad.
Cada movimiento que ha inclinado el arco moral hacia la justicia — la abolición, el sufragio, los derechos civiles — fue primero tildado de antiamericano.

Desacreditar al mensajero.
Distorsionar el mensaje.
